Milk | A4 relief sculpture, limited edition of 10
 
If Milkshake is the cow of childhood imagination, Milk is the one that was actually in the field. Black-and-white, unmistakable, the Holstein Friesian — the cow every British child has drawn at some point, with its ink-blot markings and its ordinary, patient beauty. This piece is a quiet love letter to the familiar one.
Each cow is precision-cut, hand-painted to catch the shape of those markings, and raised 5mm from a layered horizon in a floating relief. Shadow becomes part of the composition — the herd shifts slightly with the light in the room.
