‘Pop Pastures’ | A1 Statement Relief Sculpture

"A Study in Intersectional Colour Theory and Heritage."

The Story: ‘Pop Pastures’ is a definitive, flagship work in the series. Housed in the largest A1 format, this piece is an architectural grid of 20 distinct, hand-painted cow silhouettes. It is a rhythmic and symmetrical interrogation of the British rural landscape, reimagining the fields through a high-vibrancy, Warhol-inspired prism. The intersecting colour-blocks are precisely curated to create a disciplined tension—where tradition meets intentional color theory, and pop culture meets heritage agriculture.

The Technique: This flagship piece features a structured 'herd' of 20 cow silhouettes, each meticulously hand-painted with varying Pop Art palettes. Suspended within our signature 5mm floating relief, each individual cow is dynamic, casting complex, shifting shadows against the rigid color grid as the ambient light in the room changes throughout the day. The result is a sculptural installation of intimate depth and powerful presence.
